Justin and Simon Morris are brothers that co-own a 360 Sprintcar race team, While Justin does a majority of the behind the scene’s work to keep this Budget conscious team on the track it is always difficult to get one of the most important jobs completed with success, that task is finding the much needed sponsorship to fulfil their goal of competing in the Australian Sprintcar Allstars series.
They are still currently looking for businesses that may be able help out by making a donation of supplies or a financial investment to Morris Motorsport.
Justin is extremely passionate about his motorsport, “It all started back in the early 1990’s when my dad was a Technical Inspector at Calder Park Thunderdome in Melbourne” Justin says, “With Dad doing this it saw me attending a lot of the events held there which in turn fuelled my ambition to race cars”.
When the Thunderdome closed I had to keep the fire burning so I started competing in motorkhana events at Geelong and Kyneton car club’s in a trusty ford escort, this was fun for a while until I took a short break from driving and became a spectator of many different forms of motorsport.
It was Speedway and the Sprintcar class that reignited my motorsport ambitions after a few years leading me to purchase my first Sprintcar rolling chassis in 2007, I have been racing this car when the budget allows ever since then.
Morris Motorsport are very much looking forward to the Australian Sprintcar Allstars Series which is Australia’s premier 360 series and it all kicks off in Mildura on the 7th November then to Heartland Raceway in Moama before continuing around Victoria and South Australia,

“We need to find some support to be able to complete the whole series” states Justin, “we will promote our sponsors extremely well via different avenues including our Morris Motorsport Facebook page, during race meetings and in any way we can”.
Justin and Simon would like to thank 3 businesses that have jumped on board to help them this year.
